On Friday 5th April over 40 black tags and black belts took to the floor in Carrigaline Community Hall for the 2019 Black Belt Preliminary Grading.
Students from Ballincollig, Ballinora, Ballintemple, Bishopstown, Carrigaline, DIT, Frankfield and NUIG all put on impressive displays under the watchful eyes of this years examining panel: Master Dermot Walsh VII, Master Michael Burke VII and Ms Sandra Walsh V.
The successful candidates now focus on the annual Black Belt Grading in Carrigaline on Saturday 18th May.
